The Good Samaritan FundThe Original Reason: A student from Kenya came to the United States in hopes of a theological education. After the first situation he was in did not work out, this student connected with Peace United Church of Christ which has sponsored him to go to a seminary in the Twin Cities. He is now a fully enrolled student there. Proceeds from original fundraising helped support his first semester. The Ongoing Reason: We continue to have opportunities to serve as Good Samaritans in the lives of people who have faced some sort of tragedy or injustice.
